Prebiotic Chemistry

We are exploring how reactive Fe phases produced during the hydration of ultramafic rocks, such as (Mg,Fe)(OH)2 (aka "ferroan brucite"), can drive transformations of N and P species that would have been relevant for prebiotic chemical networks.
